The Journey

Day 1

Arrival to Zagreb and Gorski Kotar

Your adventure begins in Zagreb, followed by a transfer northwest into the forested highlands of the Gorski Kotar region. Settle into this peaceful, green lung of Croatia, where dense forests and clean mountain air provide a tranquil start to your journey. Dinner is included.

Day 2

Hiking in Risnjak National Park

Explore Risnjak National Park, a primeval wilderness of ancient forests and karst meadows. Hike well-marked trails to the summit of Mount Risnjak for sweeping views. This challenging day involves approximately 18km of hiking with significant elevation changes over 6-7 hours. Breakfast is included.

Day 3

Hiking in Northern Velebit National Park

Traverse Northern Velebit, one of Europe's great, wild areas. Discover rugged karst terrain, rocky peaks, and high-altitude meadows. Hike the Premužić Trail for extraordinary views over the Adriatic before descending south to the Plitvice Lakes region.

Day 4

Walking in Plitvice Lakes National Park

Spend a day immersed in the natural wonder of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Walk along wooden boardwalks that weave through a cascade of 16 terraced lakes, glowing in shades of turquoise and emerald, connected by stunning waterfalls.

Day 5

Hiking in Paklenica National Park

Experience Paklenica National Park, Croatia's ultimate canyon hiking destination. Explore dramatic limestone gorges and forested trails, with the sound of rushing water and the sight of eagles overhead. Conclude the day in the charming town of Skradin. Lunch is included.

Day 6

Walking in Krka River National Park

Visit Krka River National Park, enchanting with its lush, waterfall-threaded river canyon and the famous Skradinski Buk falls. Later, you'll arrive in Split for your overnight stay.

Day 7

Dubrovnik Exploration and Farewell

Depart Split and journey south along the Dalmatian coast, stopping for a refreshing swim in Zuljana Bay on the Peljesac peninsula. Arrive in Dubrovnik in the afternoon, with time to freshen up before a celebratory farewell dinner and an evening stroll along the Stradun. Dinner is included.

Day 8

Departure from Dubrovnik
